About Me

Who is Lisa, and how can she help improve your health?

Lisa is a Certified Physician Associate and Integrative Health Coach with 20 years of experience working with people diagnosed with cancer. Working in Oncology became my choice when I experienced friends and family diagnosed with cancer.

Living a healthy lifestyle began when I came upon an environmental medicine course through the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. That discovery prompted me to change my food and lifestyle. Over the years, I enrolled in several courses and, ultimately, completed their 2-year Integrative Medicine Fellowship Program. The knowledge learned in the Fellowship allows me to educate my patients on various integrative health topics.

Topics include healthy eating, physical activity, sleep hygiene, and stress management, among other things. During cancer follow-up visits, I often discuss an anti-cancer lifestyle. I send patients on their way with a handful of education materials and then not see them again for three, six, or even twelve months. I knew there was more I could do to help people live healthier lives. I understood I could be more effective as a Cancer Health Coach.

My experience includes completing the City of Hope Intensive Course in Cancer Genetics and the University of Michigan Integrative Oncology Scholar Program.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, traveling, walking my two rambunctious Border Collies, gardening, and going to the local farmer’s market. I appreciate your interest, and I look forward to helping you reach healthy living goals!
